Responsibilities

:The Technical Accounting Manager will:
  • Research the impact of new or proposed accounting standards, interpretations or regulations from the SEC, FASB, AICPA, and EITF
  • Prepare timely, high quality white papers on all key technical matters for submission to the independent auditors and internal stakeholders and manage the timely resolution of financial reporting implications
  • Assist in preparing and maintaining an up-to-date library of accounting policies and procedures
  • Research business development technical accounting matters (both under US GAAP and IFRS) that could impact the estimated valuation of proposed transactions
  • Assist with review of new contracts and assess the accounting implications based on existing accounting standards, interpretations or regulations
