WHAT WILL I BE DOING AT CLIENT?
Describe the short-term & long-term responsibilities of the role - operational, program, cross-functional, team, etc.
You will be responsible for:
1. Architecture Design and Implementation:
? Design scalable and robust Siemens Teamcenter PLM solutions tailored to the automotive industry's specific requirements.
? Develop and maintain high-level and detailed system architecture documentation, including workflow diagrams, integration points, and system interfaces.
? Define technical standards and best practices for Teamcenter deployment, ensuring alignment with automotive engineering and manufacturing processes.
2. Customization and Configuration:
? Customization and configuration of Teamcenter modules
? Develop custom solutions and extensions using Teamcenter
? Hands on Code Development for customizations in C++, Java
? Implement advanced features such as Variant Management, Manufacturing Process Planner (MPP), and NX/Capital/Catia integration.
? Expected to be involved in Coding/Configuration for 30% of time
3. Integration and Data Management:
? Design and implement integrations between Teamcenter and other enterprise systems, such as ERP (SAP), MES, and CAD tools.
? Manage data migration and consolidation strategies, ensuring seamless transition from legacy systems.
? Oversee the implementation of PLM collaboration frameworks for teams.
4. Performance Optimization:
? Conduct system performance tuning, load balancing, and capacity planning.
? Troubleshoot and resolve system-level issues, ensuring maximum uptime and reliability.
5. Project Leadership:
? Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and IT, to ensure PLM solutions meet business objectives.
? Lead the rollout of Teamcenter implementations, including system testing, training, and go-live support.
6. Compliance and Governance:
? Ensure solutions comply with industry standards, including ISO, APQP, and automotive-specific PLM regulations.
? Establish robust change management and version control processes within Teamcenter.
WHAT KIND OF EXPERIENCE & SKILLS DO I NEED FOR THIS ROLE?
Required Skills and Qualifications:
? Technical Expertise:
? 10 12 years of experience in Siemens Teamcenter, with at least 5 years as an architect in the automotive domain.
? Hands on Experience in Teamcenter modules such as BOM Management, Change Management, Manufacturing, Lifecycle Management and Requirements Management.
? Integration and CAD Knowledge:
? Strong understanding of CAD tools (NX, CATIA, Solidworks and Capital) and integration with PLM systems.
? Hands-on experience integrating Teamcenter with SAP and other enterprise systems.
? Automotive Domain Knowledge:
? Expertise in automotive engineering processes, including concept design, digital twin, and manufacturing execution.
? Familiarity with automotive standards.
? Soft Skills:
? Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
? Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
WHAT SHOULD I HAVE GRADUATED IN?
? B.Tech or equivalent from a premier university
? Certification in Siemens Teamcenter or equivalent PLM systems.
? Proficiency in C++, Java
? Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
