Technical Author

• Understand the client’s range of product(s) and author aftermarket technical content

for:

– operator’s information and instructions,

– repair procedures,

– service and maintenance procedures,

– product specifications,

– electrical wiring and component information.

• Understand and work with the departmental processes for the creation of

documentation, and support both the off-site full-time Technical Author and on-site

Publications team in:

– task management,

– artwork creation,

– composition,

– quality assurance and approval processes,

– creation of the ‘master’ English content being mindful of technical translations and

localisation (not including the actual language translation).
