Technical Business Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

Work closely with business stakeholders to understand and document banking requirements, processes, and workflows.

Analyze complex banking systems, identify gaps, and recommend technical solutions.

Facilitate workshops and discussions to gather, document, and validate business and functional requirements.

Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure solutions meet business needs and compliance standards.

Define and document business and technical requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

Support the implementation of banking solutions by performing UAT, system validations, and post-implementation reviews.

Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Develop and maintain documentation such as BRDs, FSDs, use cases, process flows, and technical specifications.

Identify automation opportunities and propose technology-driven enhancements.

Liaise with cross-functional teams, including finance, risk, compliance, and IT, to drive strategic initiatives.

Utilize data analytics and reporting tools to derive insights and optimize banking processes.

Required Skills & Experience:

10+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst in the banking domain.

Strong understanding of retail banking, corporate banking, digital banking, lending, payments, or core banking systems.

Hands-on experience in requirement gathering, process mapping, gap analysis, and stakeholder management.

Experience working with banking regulations and compliance frameworks.

Proficiency in SQL, data analysis, reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), and API integrations.

Familiarity with banking technologies such as Temenos, Finacle, Oracle FLEXCUBE, or similar.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Experience in Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

Knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) and automation tools is a plus.

Experience in working with cross-functional teams in large financial institutions.
