Job Description
We are looking for a Technical Business Analyst with strong expertise in cloud data platforms and analytics. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in data migration, SQL, and modern data engineering tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with business and technical teams to gather, analyze, and document requirements.
- Support and lead Synapse to Databricks migration activities.
- Understand existing data pipelines, dataflows, and architecture, and contribute to migration planning.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts as required.
- Work with data engineers to build and maintain data models and ensure data accuracy.
- Create functional and technical documentation for business requirements and data workflows.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve system performance and data processes.
Technical Skills Required
- Azure Synapse Migration experience
- Databricks (Notebooks, Delta Lake, ETL/Data Pipelines)
- SQL (Advanced queries, performance tuning)
- Data Modelling (Conceptual, Logical, Physical Models)
- Understanding of data lake architectures and cloud data ecosystems
Good to Have
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Knowledge of Azure DevOps
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
