Role Overview
Our client is seeking a Technical & Compliance Manager to act as the technical authority across their Passive Fire Protection operations, ensuring full compliance with legislation, standards, third-party schemes, and client requirements.
The role provides technical leadership, oversees audits and certification, and supports operational teams across live projects.
Key Responsibilities
Act as technical lead for fire stopping, fire doors, penetration sealing, cavity barriers, and structural fire protection
Provide technical guidance to project managers, supervisors, and site teams
Review drawings, specifications, and installation methodologies for compliance
Ensure compliance with Building Regulations, Approved Document B, BS/EN standards, and manufacturer guidance
Manage QA processes, inspection regimes, and certification packs
Lead third-party accreditations and audits (e.g. FIRAS, BM TRADA, IFC, ISO)
