What You ll Do

As a Technical Consultant at LevelShift, you will:

• Design and develop customizations, extensions, and integrations within D365 Finance & Operations using X++, Power Platform, and Azure services.
• Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into efficient and scalable technical solutions.
• Ensure solution designs align with Microsoft best practices and architectural guidelines.
• Develop custom features, forms, workflows, and reports using X++, SSRS, and Power BI.
• Extend and enhance existing D365FO modules (Finance, SCM, Projects, or HR) based on customer needs.
• Integrate D365FO with external applications via Data Entities, OData, and REST APIs.
• Participate in migration and upgrade projects from AX 2012 to D365FO, ensuring data integrity and minimal disruption.
• Conduct code reviews, performance tuning, and refactoring to maintain system efficiency and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Manage build and release activities across development, UAT, and production environments using LCS and Azure DevOps.
• Oversee deployment pipelines, maintain version control, and support post-deployment validations.

Your Skillset

We re looking for an experienced D365FO Technical Consultant with 5+ years of experience in designing, developing, and delivering Microsoft Dynamics AX and D365FO solutions.

Core Technical Expertise

• X++ Programming: Strong hands-on experience in development, debugging, and performance optimization.
• D365 Finance & Operations: In-depth understanding of application architecture, data entities, and extension models.
• AX 2012: Experience in migration, upgrade, and legacy system support.
• Integrations: Proficiency in integrating D365FO with external systems using Data Management Framework, OData, REST, and Azure services.
• Reporting & Analytics: Expertise in SSRS, Power BI, and custom report development.
