We are seeking an experienced Technical Content Writer to join our marketing team with software services background . This role requires a unique blend of deep technical understanding and the ability to craft compelling, marketing-focused narratives. You will be a key player in shaping how our technological advancements are communicated and perceived, turning complex information into clear, persuasive content that attracts and retains customers.
Objectives of this Role
- Produce high-quality technical content that drives traffic, boosts engagement, and enhances brand awareness.
- Translate complex technical concepts and product details into simple, polished, and engaging marketing materials.
- Utilize SEO best practices to improve the online visibility and search rankings of technical content.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure all content is accurate, consistent, and aligned with marketing strategies and product releases.
Responsibilities
- Develop and create a variety of technical and marketing content, including:
- Well-researched blog posts and articles
- In-depth whitepapers and case studies
- Website copy and landing pages
- Email campaigns , newsletters , and social media copy
- Video scripts , webinars , and other multimedia content
- Research industry-related topics and gather information from subject matter experts (SMEs), such as engineers and product managers, to ensure technical accuracy.
- Optimize all content for search engines (SEO) using keyword research and industry best practices.
- Edit and proofread content to ensure clarity, grammar, consistency in style, and adherence to the company's brand voice.
- Manage content calendars and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Analyze content performance metrics (e.g., website traffic, engagement) and use data-driven insights to refine future content.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Technical Content Writer, Content Writer, or similar role, preferably in a technical field.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills , with a strong command of grammar and an ability to translate complex information into user-friendly language.
- Strong understanding of SEO principles and digital marketing strategies.
- Proficiency with Content Management Systems (CMS) like WordPress and familiarity with analytics tools.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external experts.
- Strong research skills and attention to detail.
- Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, English, Journalism, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred).
Preferred Qualifications
- A portfolio of published technical articles or marketing content samples.
- Experience with documentation tools such as Confluence, Jira, or Markdown.
- Basic knowledge of design tools for creating simple visuals, charts, or infographics is a plus.
