Technical Delivery Manager /Architect (Java Full Stack) - Mumbai

Location: Mumbai

The Technical Delivery Manager will act as a strategic bridge between business, technology, and development teams, ensuring the successful end-to-end execution of large-scale technology programs. The role demands strong program governance, stakeholder management, technology understanding, and the ability to drive cross-functional delivery in a complex banking environment.

This position is responsible for planning, execution, tracking, reporting, and risk management across multiple technology initiatives, ensuring delivery excellence and alignment with enterprise architecture, security, and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Technology Delivery Governance:

a. Lead and manage end-to-end delivery of technology projects across Digital, Core Banking, Data, Cloud, and Integration platforms.

b. Ensure alignment of solution architecture, design, development, and deployment with bank-wide architecture guidelines and security frameworks.

c. Establish delivery plans, milestones, risks, and mitigation strategies, track execution rigorously.

d. Drive continuous improvements by implementing delivery best practices, automation, and engineering standards.

e. Monitor capacity, effort estimates, and productivity to ensure optimal utilization of technology teams.

2. Application & Technology Oversight:

a. Understand application architecture, integrations, APIs, and platform dependencies to proactively identify issues.

b. Ensure readiness of development, testing, UAT, performance testing, and production deployment activities.

c. Lead major releases, production cutovers, and post-go-live stabilization of applications.

d. Evaluate and implement appropriate technology solutions to improve operational efficiency and productivity.

e. Drive adoption of cloud, automation, DevOps, and CI/CD practices wherever applicable.

3. Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Collaboration:

a. Partner with business, application owners, enterprise architecture, testing, security, infrastructure, compliance and vendor teams to ensure seamless execution.

b. Facilitate requirement clarification, design reviews, and delivery checkpoints with all internal and external stakeholders.

c. Ensure timely communication of project status, dependencies, and bottlenecks to senior leadership.

d. Manage expectations and ensure delivery outcomes meet business objectives and customer experience standards.

e. Monitor project risks, issues, and dependencies, and develop mitigation strategies.

Key Skills:

1. Strong understanding of IT delivery processes, SDLC, Agile methodologies, and DevOps pipelines.

2. Hands-on understanding of Cloud platforms, Microservices, APIs, Data Engineering, and Application Security.

3. Excellent program governance, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

4. Ability to manage multiple technology programs with cross-functional dependencies.

5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a risk-based approach.

6. Ability to work closely with technical architects, developers, testers, and business teams to ensure seamless delivery.
