Technical Delivery Manager – Content Management System

Description GSPANN is hiring a Technical Delivery Manager with expertise in Content Management System (CMS). The role focuses on leading large-scale CMS implementations and upgrades across enterprise platforms, ensuring end-to-end delivery governance, stakeholder management, and technical leadership across CMS technologies.

Role and Responsibilities

Plan and manage project timelines, budgets, and delivery schedules for Content Management System (CMS) implementations and upgrades.

Coordinate internal teams and external partners to meet milestones on time and within approved budgets.

Identify delivery risks early, define mitigation plans, and proactively resolve issues impacting project outcomes.

Provide technical leadership for CMS platform selection, customization, and implementation initiatives.

Partner with Solution Architects and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to translate technical and business requirements into scalable CMS solutions.

Stay current with CMS trends and best practices, particularly across Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and Contentful platforms.

Serve as the primary technical point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and internal delivery teams.

Communicate project progress, risks, and dependencies clearly to ensure stakeholder alignment and transparency.

Oversee quality assurance activities to ensure CMS solutions meet performance, security, and usability standards.

Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), manage feedback, and drive issue resolution.

Create and review technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, configuration guides, and user manuals.

Enable end-user and internal team training on CMS usage, governance, and best practices.

Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and consistency in CMS delivery.

Drive initiatives to improve CMS scalability, performance, and long-term maintainability.

Skills and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

Bring 16+ years of experience in technical project management, preferably within CMS or web platform implementations.

Demonstrate strong expertise in CMS platforms such as Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Contentful, WordPress, Drupal, or Joomla.

Apply solid understanding of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, databases (MySQL, MongoDB), and web servers (Apache, Nginx).

Exhibit strong communication and collaboration skills when working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Hold project management certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2 (preferred).

Apply Agile or Scrum delivery methodologies effectively in project execution.

Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and ownership-driven mindset.
