A multidisciplinary creative design firm in Chicago is looking to add a Technical Designer to their team!
Job Description:
+ Executes project deliverables in the time allotted per project schedule as coordinated by the Project Manager
+ Coordinates documentation that captures design decisions while holistically addressing the 3D space; from functionality, alignment with programmatic needs, and how materials, volumes, and performance of the space all come together
+ Creates design documentation during the Schematic through the Construction Administration phase under oversight of the Project Manager and Design Director - these efforts are through CAD drafting and/or external coordination with vendors
+ Coordinates design documentation to abide by standard construction methods and design detailing for implementation within design documentation
+ Coordinates and executes custom furniture and fixture details to align with design direction as ...
