Technical Executive

DESCRIPTION

· Handle allocated vessels for procurement arrangement.

· To work closely with the Superintendent Engineer directly for the procurement and supply of goods and services to vessel/s as assigned by the Procurement Manager.

· To maintain the following:

- A full record of all requisitions received from the vessels;

- Coordination with Superintendent Engineer on requisition received from vessels;

- Initiate enquiries with company approved suppliers;

- On receipt of quotations make price comparison of the supplier and present the data to Superintendent in-charge for approval;

- To generate Purchase Orders in the system and send to Supplier and to get their acknowledgement of receipt of order.

· To arrange dispatch of stores/spares in close coordination with Superintendent Engineer through the most economical way but always keeping in mind urgency of goods required on board.
