– Technical Interpreter (Software Development & Project Management)
Location: Japan
Experience Level: 3-4 years (minimum)
Education: B.Tech in Computer Science (CSE) or Electronics & Communication (ECE)
Japanese Proficiency: JLPT N2 or N1 (Fluent in Japanese & English)

Job Summary:
We are looking for a Technical Interpreter with expertise in software development and project management to support communication between Japanese clients and offshore/global engineering teams. This is a role where the interpreter will actively contribute to project execution by facilitating discussions, translating technical documents, and assisting
in project coordination. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background (B.Tech in CSE/ECE) and Japanese proficiency at N2 or N1 level.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Interpretation & Translation:
 Provide real-time interpretation during technical discussions, meetings, and client interactions.
 Translate software development documents, specifications, reports, and project requirements between Japanese and English.
 Ensure accurate and clear communication between Japanese clients and offshore/global development teams.
2. Technical Communication & Coordination:
 Act as a bridge between Japanese stakeholders and offshore engineering teams to ensure smooth project execution.
 Support requirement gathering, software architecture discussions, and issue resolution.
 Assist in writing and reviewing technical documentation in both Japanese and English.
3. Project Management Support:
 Collaborate with Project Managers and Engineers to track project progress and deadlines.
 Help in reporting project status to Japanese clients and internal teams.
 Assist in managing client expectations, identifying risks, and ensuring timely delivery of project milestones.

4. Client Engagement & Cultural Mediation:
 Facilitate cultural understanding between Japanese clients and offshore teams.
 Help offshore teams understand Japanese business etiquette and work culture.
 Support client visits, workshops, and training sessions.

Required Qualifications:
 Education: B.Tech in Computer Science (CSE) or Electronics & Communication (ECE).
 Experience: Minimum 3-4 years in technical interpretation, software development, or project coordination.
 Language Proficiency: JLPT N2 or N1 (Fluent in Japanese and English).
 Technical Knowledge:
o Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC), programming
concepts, and system architecture.
o Familiarity with software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum,
Waterfall, etc.).
o Basic knowledge of programming languages (Python, Java, C++, etc.) is a plus.

 Project Management Skills: Ability to assist in managing projects, tracking milestones, and coordinating between teams.
