<p class="wordsection1"><b>Job Title: Technical Lead</b></p> <p class="wordsection1"><b>Job Location: Canada (Remote)</b></p> <p class="wordsection1"><b>Mode: Contract </b></p> <p class="wordsection1"> </p> <p class="wordsection1"><b>Job Description:</b></p> <p class="wordsection1">8-15 years of experience in SDLC projects with the following skills</p> <p class="wordsection1"> Experience with the .NET framework, including languages like C#, ASP.NET, and potentially VB.NET, to understand application logic and data access layers (e.g., ADO.NET, Entity Framework).</p> <p class="wordsection1"> Familiarity with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) for data migration/ETL and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) or Power BI for reporting.</p> <p class="wordsection1"> Lead the planning, testing, and execution of SQL Server upgrades (e.g., from SQL 2016 to SQL 2022) with minimal downtime.</p> <p class="wordsection1"> Collaborate with application development teams to ensure .NET applications (built on C#, ASP.NET, VB.NET, etc.) remain compatible and perform optimally after the upgrade.</p> <p class="wordsection1"> Work with DB team to plan & implement data migration strategies, including ETL processes (SSIS), and ensure data quality, integrity, and security throughout the migration.</p> <p class="wordsection1"> Knowledge in Java is a plus</p> <p class="wordsection1"> Insurance domain knowledge is a plus</p> <p class="wordsection1">Experience with AWS, specifically with cloud-based SQL database solutions</p>
