Technical Lead EMC Engineer

Overview We are seeking a full-time Technical Lead EMC Engineer in our Olathe, KS or Cary, NC location. In this role, you will be responsible for being a key technical contributor and/or project manager for Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Certification and/or testing related to complicated projects and will serve as a mentor and provides guidance to less experienced EMC engineers. Essential Functions Reviews new project proposals and provides guidance to resolve any issues Demonstrates good knowledge of all Garmin products and their respective certification and testing requirements across multiple platforms Creates test programs to suit multiple certification programs Regularly demonstrates creativity and ingenuity to develop reliable solutions to complex problems Represents Garmin among industry partners, peer groups and regulatory agencies (FAA/EASA/RTCA/GAMA/OEM/Audits/FCC/IEEE) Provides guidance and mentoring to less experienced EMC Engineers (EMC Engineer 1 & 2, Senior EMC Eng...
