Role Overview:

We are building an AI-driven enterprise product powered by IBM WatsonX — a next-generation platform designed to transform how businesses interact with data and automation. We are looking for a hands-on, language-agnostic Technical Lead / Engineering Lead who can design, build, integrate, and deliver enterprise-grade software and AI-driven solutions.

This role is critical to shaping Intellismith’s Technology Vertical, covering:

• Internal platforms
• Client implementations and integrations
• Scalable SaaS products
• AI Agents / Agentic AI solutions that can be offered standalone or integrated with enterprise systems (e.g., HRMS/HCMS platforms)

You will lead by example—writing code, reviewing architecture, mentoring engineers, and ensuring reliable delivery in a fast-paced startup environment.

Job Details:

• Experience: 7+ years of strong hands-on experience in software development and system design .
• CTC Bracket: Competitive, aligned with industry standards
• Qualification: BE / B.Tech / MCA / BCA / MTech.
• Location: Noida (WFO - 5 days)
• Notice Period: Immediate to 15 days (candidates with a notice period of less than 30 days are preferred)

Required Skills & Experience:

Core Technical Skills

• 7+ years of strong hands-on experience in software development and system design .
• Language-agnostic mindset with experience across modern stacks such as:
• Frontend: React / Angular / Vue
• Backend: Node.js / Python / Java / .NET
• Solid experience with:
• REST APIs and integrations
• SQL and NoSQL databases
• Cloud platforms (IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure, or equivalent)
• Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines

AI & Modern Tech Exposure

• Practical experience building AI / LLM / chatbot-based applications .
• Familiarity with:
• IBM WatsonX (ai, data, assistant, orchestrate) or similar enterprise AI platforms
• LLM-based workflows, automation, and orchestration patterns
• Data security, privacy, and enterprise governance

Leadership & Startup Readiness

• Proven experience leading teams in fast-paced or startup-like environments .
• Strong ownership mindset with ability to work across ambiguous problem statements.
• Ability to balance hands-on coding with architecture and leadership responsibilities .

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end technical delivery across products, platforms, and client implementations.
• Remain hands-on in coding, debugging, reviews, and production deployments.
• Design scalable architectures for web apps, APIs, SaaS, and enterprise systems.
• Build AI-powered solutions and enterprise AI agents.
• Mentor engineers, support hiring, and collaborate with business and clients.
