Job Description

7+ years of software development experience, 3+ years as a Tech Lead. (Advanced)

Experience: ABAP code, RFCs, BAPIs, IDocs, SAP Gateway (OData). Design: Sequence Diagrams, Enterprise Architect, Swagger/OpenAPI.

Mandatory Technical Requirements (Hard Skills)

The candidate must master both the legacy world (SAP) and the new Cloud-Native architecture.

A. Experience in the SAP Ecosystem (Legacy):

• Ability to read and analyze ABAP code and RFCs (Remote Function Calls) to extract business rules.

• In-depth knowledge of SAP CRM, SAP PO (Process Orchestration), and SAP NetWeaver Portal.

• Understanding of the SAP data model to guide data mapping toward the new model.

B. Modern Architecture and Development (Future):

• Advanced experience with Java 11+ and Spring Boot for microservices design.

• Strong command of container platforms, specifically Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) and Kubernetes.

• Experience in REST API design and governance using Red Hat 3scale (or similar tools).

• Knowledge of modern integration patterns using Apache Camel and asynchronous messaging (Kafka / ActiveMQ).

Job Responsibilities

•
Reverse Engineering and Discovery:
Execute and oversee the reverse engineering of ABAP code and SAP Portal logic to document current ("AS-IS") processes, given that documentation is limited or nonexistent.

•
Technical Definition (To-Be):
Translate the vision of the new microservices architecture into a tangible technical plan, defining APIs, service interactions, and the technical blueprint for the Software Factory.

•
Migration Strategy:
Design and oversee the data migration plan (3 TB) from SAP CRM to SQL Server, ensuring traceability, data cleansing, and coexistence strategy (Strangler Fig pattern).

•
Squad Leadership:
Coordinate the team's technical work (Developers, QA, Data Engineers), removing technical blockers and ensuring deliverables (LLD) comply with OpenShift standards and the reference architecture.
