Job Description
Major Roles & Responsibilities:
- Ability to design PV system solution including PV modules, Inverters, transformers, Switchgear, and all other accessories.
- Should have knowledge of IS, IEC and IEEE standards applicable for PV system.
- Developing communication and relations with GOVT bodies in renewable sector.
- Participation in tender / pre-bid tenders to ensure our product specifications are incorporated to promote our products.
- Ensuring in all GOVT tenders our product specifications are mentioned
- Meeting with PAN India solar consultancies and educating our products, ensuring consultancies SG as preferred inverter/product supplier.
Key Responsibilities:
- The Pre-Sales Technical team is responsible for providing technical solutions to new & existing corporate customers in India and overseas.
- The responsibilities of technical pre-sales include tender documentation, product demonstrations and assisting the sales team for order closure.
- As a Technical Pre-Sales solution provider, any individual support the growth of the company, whilst strengthening your own expertise and becoming an integral part of Sungrow India.
- Responsible for actively driving and managing the presales process with direct customers, the Technical Pre-Sales solution provider must be able to articulate the company’s technology and product portfolio, positioning to both business and technology users.
- As a solution provider will have to provide technical assistance and guidance during the pre-sales process by identifying customers technical and business requirements, prior to designing a solution, consulting with technical partners about capabilities, and supporting business sales teams, account managers and partners on proposal activities
Qualification:
- BE in Electrical and Electronics engineering
- 10+ years’ experience in Design & Engineering of PV solar plants & BESS Systems
- Software's - PVsyst, AutoCAD, Helios3D.
- Codes & standards - IS, BS, IEC, IEEE, EN, DIN, NEC.
Key Competencies/Job Description:
- Application engineering/Optimization in Solar PV products like Inverters, transformers, switchgears, SCB’s, SCADA and BESS Systems.
- Ability to demonstrate interpersonal and team building skills working with technical and non-technical individuals
- Experience in BOS calculations and techno commercial evaluations.
- Experience in team leading, supervising, Decision making & Initiation.
- Experience in planning & organizing team to achieve goals.
- Experience in process improvement.
