The Technical Operations Support Engineer will ensure Siemens Energy field service personnel have the tools, training, and procedures when they arrive at a job site to perform a high-quality job both safely and efficiently. This will entail working with the district offices, service engineering, tool depots, and others to identify current and future needs and to develop the tools and processes necessary.
**How You’ll Make an Impact**
+ Responsible for developing and optimizing processes to improve safety, quality, and schedule of large gas turbine field service events, primarily V fleet (SGT6-2000E & SGT6-4000F).
+ Responsible for developing training criteria for technicians and engineers on specialized tooling and equipment.
+ Responsible for seeking and implementing cost savings projects.
+ Supporting field service organization as technical support or shift field engineer during peak outage season when demands dictate.
