Technical position - Nanoelectronics

The Molecular Electronics Group at IMDEA Nanociencia offers a technical position contract to contribute to research activities related to azaindole dimers at the single-molecule level.

Position description
The selected candidate will carry out simulations of electrical transport properties for a range of compounds based on azaindole monomers and dimers. The tasks will involve performing first-principles calculations and electronic transport simulations based on Green’s function techniques.

• Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Chemistry, Nanoscience (or an equivalent degree in a related field).
• Language skills: Oral and written communication skills in Spanish and English.
• Personal skills: Ability to work in a team, flexibility, and adaptability to perform multiple tasks.
