Position Title: Technical Program Management
Job Description:

Roles & responsibilities:

  • Works cross functionally with a broad set of technical and business partners, to create quarterly roadmaps for Program/Projects planned for the year
  • Identify cross-team dependencies to incorporate them into the program planning process
  • Oversee the program development, delivery and integration process (if necessary) and ensure it is within budget and timeframe
  • Manage programs progress via Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project and other Program management tools.
  • Take note of certain relevant metrics and develop reports to communicate the development progress to senior managers, product managers, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Identify how to resolve technical issues by diagnosing them with the team and providing potential solutions.
  • Make necessary adjustments to development processes based on performance metrics
  • Clearly communicate escalations with program stakeholders
  • Ensure complete compliance according to industry standards by documenting all the processes and adjusting them, if necessary.

Experience:

  • 7 + years of project management experience, with an emphasis on information systems and technical project Management.
  • 4+ years of Technical Program Management Experience in Data and Analytics area
  • Experience working with or within Project Management Office (PMO).
  • Experience doing project planning, budget estimation and management, resource planning and assessment, financial planning, and risk assessment.
  • Experience in via Jira, Confluence, Microsoft project or any other project management tools, financial management, scheduling, risk management capabilities.
  • Experience in working with offshore / onshore model.
  • Great ability to understand client expectations and recognize and escalate issues that may affect delivery.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Great customer service aptitude and ability to follow through to resolve customer issues.
  • Experience leading ambiguous and complex situations to clear measurable plans.
  • Experience and ability to work with people across the organization and skilled at managing cross-functional relationships and communicating with leadership across multiple organizations.
  • Strong ability to mentor and lead

Must Have Skills:

  • Agile and Waterfall methodologies, and program/project lifecycle management
  • Strong leadership, team management and communication skills
  • Project management tools (e.g., Oracle PPM, Microsoft Project, JIRA, Confluence)
  • Ability to manage budgets, timelines, and resources effectively
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making and risk management abilities
  • Stakeholder and cross-functional dependency management
  • Technical background in software development, systems architecture, or related fields
  • Software development lifecycle (SDLC), CI/CD processes and DevOps practices
  • Understanding of ML concepts or experience working in ML related technical projects.

Additional Skills:

  • PMP (Project Management Professional) or similar certification
  • Lean, Six Sigma or SaFe methodologies
  • Change management principles
  • Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (e.g., Azure, GCP)
  • Understanding of business analysis and requirements gathering
  • Skills in conflict resolution and negotiation
  • Familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., SQL, Python)
  • Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards
