Earnifi is building modern, data-driven fintech products spanning mobile apps, web, and a core backend platform. As we scale, we’re looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager who is a very strong executor and can enable and drive engineering execution across mobile, web, and backend systems in a fast-moving startup environment. This role is critical to ensuring high-quality execution across functions, with real influence over planning, prioritization discussions, and release readiness decisions.

This is an individual contributor role with no people management responsibilities.

This is a hands-on, senior IC role focused on execution enablement, coordination, and risk management at the intersection of Product and Engineering. You won’t just track delivery; you’ll drive clarity and momentum, challenge assumptions, surface risks early, and facilitate hard trade-offs when needed. This role requires strong judgment around when platform investments add leverage, and when speed and iteration matter more.

You will report to the Founding Head of Engineering, with a dotted-line relationship to the Head of Product, and act as the day-to-day execution partner to Engineering and Product, ensuring plans are realistic, risks are visible, and teams can ship predictably.

• Facilitate technical planning and estimation by partnering with tech leads to break down product requirements into engineering-ready work. You’ll produce realistic estimates, uncover hidden complexity, identify risks early, and build delivery plans leadership can trust.
• You will not own product strategy or prioritization, but you will be expected to surface tradeoffs, highlight risks, and help leaders make informed decisions. You’ll help us define MVP scope vs. fast follows, balance speed vs. long-term platform stability, and push back with data, options, and clear recommendations when needed.
• Support sprint execution by ensuring stories are well-defined, dependencies are identified early, progress is visible, and blockers are surfaced and addressed quickly. 
• Stay close to the technical details. Participate in system design discussions, review APIs and data flows, and ensure consistency across mobile, web, and backend systems. While you may not code, you are expected to deeply understand the architecture and challenge technical decisions when needed.
• Manage releases across app, web, and backend. Coordinate cross-team dependencies, ensure release readiness, and support go/no-go decisions in partnership with Engineering and Product.
  

• 7–10 years of experience in roles such as Technical Program Manager (with strong technical depth), Engineering Manager with heavy execution ownership, or Tech Lead responsible for delivery.
• Comfort operating in early-stage or fast-growing startups where processes are lightweight, incomplete, and evolve over time. Experience primarily in large, highly structured organizations without startup exposure is less likely to be a fit.
• Experience working on consumer-facing mobile or web products where speed, iteration, and user experience are critical.
• Strong understanding of backend systems and APIs, mobile and web delivery cycles, and practical agile execution beyond just ceremonies.
• Prior background as a software engineer is preferred.
• Experience with fintech, data-heavy products, or regulated systems is a strong plus.
• Above all, you are a strong executor who takes ownership, drives clarity, and gets teams to ship.
