About the Role

We are looking for a Technical Program Manager to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives within a payments and financial services environment. You will partner closely with engineering, product, operations, compliance, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and reliable payment solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and drive end-to-end delivery of technical programs across multiple teams.
  • Partner with Engineering, Product, Architecture, Risk, and Compliance to align technical execution with business goals.
  • Manage roadmaps, timelines, dependencies, risks, and milestones for large-scale initiatives.
  • Translate business and regulatory requirements into clear technical execution plans.
  • Drive program governance, status reporting, and stakeholder communication at multiple levels.
  • Identify and proactively resolve delivery risks, technical bottlenecks, and cross-team dependencies.
  • Support continuous improvement of delivery processes, tooling, and execution standards.
  • Ensure programs meet security, compliance, and quality standards typical of the payments industry.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Program Management, Technical Project Management, or TPM roles.
  • Strong experience working with engineering teams in agile / scaled agile environments.
  • Background in payments, fintech, financial services, or regulated environments.
  • Solid understanding of software development lifecycles, APIs, cloud-based systems, and distributed architectures.
  • Experience managing large, complex, cross-functional programs.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to balance technical depth with business context.
  • Fluent English (written and spoken); Spanish required.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with payment platforms, card networks, gateways, or transaction processing systems.
  • Familiarity with compliance and regulatory frameworks (PCI-DSS, AML, KYC).
  • Experience working with global or nearshore teams.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Technical background in engineering or systems architecture.
