TECHNICAL PROJECT MANAGER (8 -12 Years) (Bangalore / Chennai)

What's this role about?

We currently have an opportunity for a Technical Project Manager with 8+ years of experience managing the new deployments/support/migration projects in the Networking space.

Here's How You'll Contribute

· Prepare and manage project scope, schedules, Risks/Issues, status reports and change requests.

· Monitor project progress continuously and make detailed scheduled reports on measurable items, such as milestones and deliverables.

· Report the project's status to internal and client management teams, including escalating issues where appropriate.

· Project Manager responsibilities include planning Project Manager activities, analysing information to keep projects on track, and collaborating with different internal and external teams to ensure all leaders understand where a project is at any given point.

· Identify and mitigate risks or issues on a project-by-project basis, implement strategies to minimise the impact on the project, and control deviations from the project scope, schedule and estimated costs.

· Build and maintain relationships with customers, exceeding their expectations and ensuring satisfaction.

· Support customers throughout the project and post-project implementation process and smooth transition to support.

Job Skills & Qualifications Required

· Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or related fields

· 10+ experience technical project manager with proficiency in Networking, Delivery Management, Change Management, and Resource Management.

· Should possess good experience delivering Networking projects for enterprise customers understanding written and non-written requirements.

· Experience prioritizing activities based on functional and technical requirements

· Designing and applying appropriate project management standards.

· Experience in implementing waterfall and agile methodologies wherever required.

· Strong attention to detail and technicalities.

· Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

· Excellent communication, decision-making and leadership capabilities.

· Conflict resolution experience.

· Adaptability & ability to deliver in a high-pressure environment.

· Ensure sign-off by the client of the different project phases.

· Must be certified in Project Management – PMI – PMP.

Preferred

· Knowledge of SD-WAN with at least one Networking certification.

· Experience in using Microsoft Projects or any other Project management tool.
