Technical Project Manager

The Senior Project Manager has overall responsibility for a project throughout its life cycle. The role’s focus is on the process of delivering the project successfully within scope, time, and cost agreed. This also includes management of issues, risks, and project change requests to ensure successful and on-time project delivery while contributing to process improvement initiatives as it relates to improving project delivery.

This is done by coordinating resources across the enterprise and employing the appropriate people, processes, and tools to achieve the projects successfully.

Additionally, the Sr. Project Manager:

• Facilitates, identifies, evaluates, develops, and implements project management best practices across the entire enterprise.
• Facilitates project communications to all stakeholders within the company and to clients.
• Promotes the PMO as a customer-focused organization to provide high-quality, content project delivery and project a confident, professional image to our clients.
• Successfully manages the transition of the customer from the sales organization, through the implementation process and then through to the transition to production support (go-live).
• Manages stakeholders’ expectations.
• Communicates to the appropriate management authority when a project or deliverable is at risk.
• Mentors junior members of the PMO team in best practices and technologies.

The project manager is not a technical resource and should not be charged with providing any technical specifications or details.

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of technology project management experience in applications, software, hardware, and engineered systems solutions within a client-facing organization.
• The ability to manage all aspects of assigned projects to meet objectives for integration, scope, time, budget, resources, quality, communications, risks, procurement, and stakeholders.
• The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• The ability to effectively communicate to all levels of management.
• The ability to rapidly adapt to an ever-changing, fast-paced environment.
• A great attitude and enjoy project management!
• Familiarity with one or more Oracle solutions (EBS, ASCP, OCI, OIM, OAM, SOA, OBIEE, Hyperion, EDQ, WebCenter, Exadata, Oracle RDBMS) (optional).
• Experience with Microsoft Project Server (optional).
• Detail oriented.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
• Project management experience with Cloud solutions (OCI, AWS, Azure)
