Responsibilities


Core responsibilities

  • Planning: Develop project plans, define scope, set deadlines, and estimate resources (both HW, SW and human resource)
  • Execution: Manage and lead the project team and ensure tasks are completed according to the plan. Manage multiple projects at the same time.
  • Monitoring and Control: Track project progress, identify and manage risks.
  • Communication: Act as the central point of contact for stakeholders and team members, providing updates and managing expectations.
  • Closure: Evaluate project success, conduct post-project reviews, and ensure all deliverables are finalized and accepted by the customer.
  • Customer engagements: Manage specific customer engagements w.r.t build delivery, drive issue resolution and build qualification.
  • Continuous improvement: Drive continuous improvement of development and test processes leading to improved product quality and increased team efficiency.

    • Qualifications


  • 10 to 12 yrs of overall experience out of which 5+ yrs as a project manager.
  • BE/BTech/MTech
  • Leadership and communication: Ability to motivate a team, manage conflict, and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Very assertive and strong articulation skills. Ability to interface with SW and FPGA teams. Excellent analysis and reporting skills.
  • Organizational and planning skills: Strong ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and create detailed plans and schedules.
  • Monitoring and Controlling skills: Strong ability to track development and QA plans, prepare and track bug convergence plans, prepare and track regression plans.
  • Risk management: Proactively identify potential problems and develop plans to mitigate them.
  • Technical knowledge:
  • Good technical, product and market knowledge in computer networking industry.
  • Experience of managing software and hardware projects related to computer networking. 
  • Strong background in product development and testing. Very good knowledge in any of the programming languages like Python, C, C++
  • Thorough knowledge of SDLC, Agile and waterfall models, Automation and CI/CD tools and processes.
  • Well versed with tools like Jira, Project planning and tracking software’s, Git, Perforce, Excel, bug tracking tools, Jenkins etc.
