Technical Project Manager

Introduction In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. • Develop and present monthly Cloud and AI content, including emerging trends, use cases, and implementation strategies for the Community of Practice and Technical Council
• Research and author white papers on innovative technologies, best practices, and governance frameworks to guide organizational decision-making
• Introduce new concepts and pilot programs for cloud optimization, AI enablement, and technology adoption
• Establish and maintain governance standards for cloud architecture, AI implementation, and technology deployment
• Facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions and workshops to build organizational capability in cloud and AI technologies
• Collaborate with stakeholders across IT, business units, and leadership to identify opportunities for technology innovation
• Coordinate with vendors and partners to evaluate emerging tools and platforms
• Track industry trends and competitive landscape to inform strategic technology roadmap
• Serve as a liaison between technical teams and executive leadership, translating complex concepts into actionable insights
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the Community of Practice and Technical Council
• Mentor team members on emerging technology concepts

Preferred Education Bachelor\'s Degree

• Project Management Expertise – Proven experience managing complex technical projects with Agile or hybrid methodologies.
• Cloud Architecture Knowledge – Deep understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, IBM Cloud) and optimization strategies.
• AI & Emerging Technologies – Familiarity with AI frameworks, data governance, and implementation best practices.
• Stakeholder Communication – Ability to translate technical concepts into business language for executive leadership.
• Governance & Compliance – Experience establishing standards for technology deployment and security.

• Certifications: PMP, Scrum Master, or ITIL.
• Hands-on experience with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of Data Analytics and Machine Learning models.
• Familiarity with Cloud FinOps for cost optimization.
• Experience in vendor management and contract negotiations.
