Responsibilities

As a Project Manager at a leading provider of financial services technology, your responsibilities include:

• Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with cross-functional teams , including software engineering, sales, and product development, to ensure projects align with business goals.
• Requirement Translation: Work closely with clients and stakeholders to translate client needs into innovative solutions and technical specifications.
• Strategic Execution: Support critical modernization programs , such as those aimed at bridging the gap between legacy COBOL systems and modern digital banking services .
• Project Lifecycle Management: Manage the design, development, and implementation phases of projects to drive efficiency and security in the financial services industry.
• Problem Solving: Apply a strong problem-solving approach to handle situational challenges, such as unexpected technical failures, while maintaining accountability to teams and stakeholders.
• Process Improvement: Utilize Agile methodologies to streamline development cycles and enhance project delivery.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: Significant experience in Project Management or Business Analysis , ideally within the financial services or fintech industry.
• Methodology: Proven proficiency with Agile methodologies .
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, teamwork, and behavioral skills , with the ability to use the STAR method to demonstrate results.
• Industry Knowledge: A solid understanding of the financial technology landscape , including payment processing and digital banking tools.
• Education: A bachelor's degree from an accredited university is typically required, with a preference for candidates who have demonstrated strong academic performance (e.g., 3.0 GPA or higher ).

Preferred Skills (Great to Have)

• Experience with modernization strategies involving Java Full Stack and legacy systems.
• Familiarity with technical concepts such as cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and SQL databases.
• Experience in professional services or technology implementations.
