Role & Responsibilities

• With 12 to 14 years of experience in IT and 5+ Years of proven experience as technical lead for ASP.NET applications and have experience in the applications migration (from on-premises to the Azure cloud or AWS to Azure cloud) and technical specialist in customer-facing roles
• Have 5+ years of experience in leading a team on Enterprise ASP. Net technology stack applications and experience in migrating existing applications to Azure cloud
• Ability to prepare proposal for application migration to AWS/Azure cloud and handle the project team end- end for the migration projects
• Experience in on-premises application migration to AWS cloud, which undergone AWS/MS Azure team audit on compliance/governance
• At least 3 yrs of experience in managing the project team size of 15+
• Provide project weekly update to Migration Program Manager
• Understanding of virtualization technologies and system architectures that utilize load balancing, horizontal scalability, and high availability
• Experience using database technologies like MS SQL and Oracle are mandatory
• Responsible for understanding existing application architectures and determining the go forward solution and environments within Azure cloud services.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including group leadership and executive presentations
• Ambitious individual who can work under their own direction towards agreed targets/goals and with creative approach to work
• Exposure to the Azure platform and its compute, storage, networking, and migration services
• Experience in Implementing the application deployments using Octopus or other deployment tools
• Part of Fixed Application migration core team working on the required code changes to make the application functional
• Hand over the migrated application to the QA team (client Application group) for functional verification.
• Identify & document the potential opportunities for improvement post migration to the cloud
• Support QA team to address any migration related defects identified during the functional testing.
• Ramp up the core team on the need basis
• Experience in Project Management and ability to track, monitor multiple projects in parallel
• Experience in providing Weekly/Monthly status report on project progress
• Extensive technical client and stakeholder management.
