Job Description
The Technical Project/Program Manager will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex technology initiatives while managing high-impact cross-functional programs across the organization. This role requires strong technical depth, Saa S project experience, and the ability to partner directly with founders to convert strategic vision into operational execution. Candidates must be graduates from top-tier engineering or technology institutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Define project/program scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables; maintain plans, schedules, and cross-functional roadmaps.
- Work closely with founders to identify, prioritize, and execute strategic, organization-wide initiatives.
- Translate founders’ vision into actionable project plans with clear ownership and measurable outcomes.
- Drive alignment across engineering, product, design, customer success, sales, marketing, finance, and operations.
- Lead cross-functional workstreams and act as a central coordination point between founders and functional leaders.
- Provide founders with structured updates, risk assessments, and data-driven recommendations for decision-making.
- Manage dependencies, streamline workflows, and ensure accountability across teams.
- Translate business requirements into technical tasks and support engineering teams with architecture and integration decisions.
- Oversee delivery of Saa S products, features, and integrations, including cloud deployments, releases, and versioning.
- Ensure product reliability, scalability, and performance align with Saa S best practices.
- Collaborate with customer success and product teams to improve onboarding, adoption, and customer experience.
- Serve as the primary contact for clients and internal stakeholders; communicate updates, risks, and blockers clearly.
- Lead sprint ceremonies, planning sessions, retrospectives, and cross-team discussions.
- Track budgets, optimize resource allocation, and forecast capacity across project phases.
- Establish program governance, efficient processes, and operational excellence across teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a top-tier engineering or technology institution (IITs, NITs, IIITs, BITS, or equivalent global universities).
- 4–8 years of project management experience, including at least 2+ years managing Saa S-based projects or platforms.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum, Dev Ops practices, and cloud technologies (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional technical teams.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, leadership, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency with project/program management tools (Jira, Asana, Trello, MS Project, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, CSM, or equivalent.
- Experience with microservices, APIs, data engineering, or enterprise Saa S solutions.
- Familiarity with CI/CD automation and cloud-native architectures.
- Experience managing distributed or remote teams.
