Key responsibilities:
Technically support Territory Managers and Key Accounts Managers to solve complex problems related to engine filtration and clean solutions in the field Secure sales growth by formulating solutions/proposals to end customers to solve their complex filtration problems, both in air and liquid filtration Effectively train and support, distributors and end-users in product knowledge, applications to market Donaldson products/solutions Implement and execute field service strategy to assist the region to achieve or exceed annual sales and profit goals Support and focus on all Donaldson market initiatives, both existing and new Trouble shooting at customers’ site to determine root causes and then to design and offer solutions to customers Continuous feedback of industry trends happening at the end customer level Continually evaluate and provide feedback on authorized distributors in area of improvement to promote Donaldson and support our branding in the market Conduct complex product trial on critical equipment to win customers’ confidence Support customers with value-add activities. Eg. Extend service interval, upgrade of air cleaner, additional fuel filtration etc Work with product management team to develop new products to meet customers’ needs Education Qualification:
Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, Civil or Chemical Engineering, or its equivalent.
Prior training on mechanism of filtration and diesel engine is must
Technical Competence & Skills:
Must be technically inclined with Product Engineering and Application Engineering experience in a related industry. Possess knowledge and experience in air & liquid engine filtration/Hydraulics/fluid power/biodiesel preferred Equipped with working experience related to diesel engine heavy equipment in mining and/or construction market. Acquired hand-on knowledge and experience in customizing solutions to customers to solve specific maintenance/operations challenges Demonstrates achievement of development and sales success. Strong sales aptitude with excellent communication and organization skills. Strong mechanical/technical aptitude, and the ability to learn new technologies through product-driven training programs. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) & CRM Relevant Experience:
Minimum 2-3 years of technical experience in manufacturing and/or engineering environment. Minimum 3-5 years of field sales engineering experience in a relevant field. Others (% of travel, language, etc.):
Effective written and verbal skills in English Language are mandatory. Ability to travel up to 60% of the time.
