Key responsibilities:
Technically support Territory Managers and Key Accounts Managers to solve complex problems related to engine filtration and clean solutions in the fieldSecure sales growth by formulating solutions/proposals to end customers to solve their complex filtration problems, both in air and liquid filtrationEffectively train and support, distributors and end-users in product knowledge, applications to market Donaldson products/solutionsImplement and execute field service strategy to assist the region to achieve or exceed annual sales and profit goalsSupport and focus on all Donaldson market initiatives, both existing and newTrouble shooting at customers’ site to determine root causes and then to design and offer solutions to customersContinuous feedback of industry trends happening at the end customer levelContinually evaluate and provide feedback on authorized distributors in area of improvement to promote Donaldson and support our branding in the marketConduct complex product trial on critical equipment to win customers’ confidenceSupport customers with value-add activities. Eg. Extend service interval, upgrade of air cleaner, additional fuel filtration etcWork with product management team to develop new products to meet customers’ needsEducation Qualification:
Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, Civil or Chemical Engineering, or its equivalent.
Prior training on mechanism of filtration and diesel engine is must
Technical Competence & Skills:
Must be technically inclined with Product Engineering and Application Engineering experience in a related industry.Possess knowledge and experience in air & liquid engine filtration/Hydraulics/fluid power/biodiesel preferredEquipped with working experience related to diesel engine heavy equipment in mining and/or construction market.Acquired hand-on knowledge and experience in customizing solutions to customers to solve specific maintenance/operations challengesDemonstrates achievement of development and sales success.Strong sales aptitude with excellent communication and organization skills.Strong mechanical/technical aptitude, and the ability to learn new technologies through product-driven training programs.Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) & CRMRelevant Experience:
Minimum 2-3 years of technical experience in manufacturing and/or engineering environment.Minimum 3-5 years of field sales engineering experience in a relevant field.Others (% of travel, language, etc.):
Effective written and verbal skills in English Language are mandatory.Ability to travel up to 60% of the time.
