Job Description
As a Technical Sales Executive at simulationHub, you will be at the forefront of our growth strategy within the HVAC sector. You will focus on selling our AI-powered CFD solutions for HVAC system performance, thermal comfort, and indoor environmental quality, specifically to HVAC consultants, HVAC OEMs, and building systems providers. This role involves driving the adoption of Autonomous HVAC CFD (AHC) and managing
high-value deals with key clients. You will be responsible for providing technical solutions that validate performance and comfort, ensuring successful project implementation across the Mechanical HVAC and manufacturing industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the end-to-end B2B sales lifecycle for AHC, from identifying and prospecting leads to negotiating and closing high-value enterprise deals.
- Act as a technical consultant during the sales process, conducting live demonstrations of AHC's AIdriven CFD workflows, including Thermal Comfort, Indoor Air Quality (IAQ), and ASHRAE 55 compliance reports.
- Manage key integration projects by collaborating with client managers and internal engineering teams to ensure seamless data exchange and understanding of tools like Revit and Autodesk Data Exchange connectors.
- Achieve or exceed high-value sales targets and build long-term, strategic client relationships.
- Stay up-to-date with HVAC industry trends, new standards (e.g., ASHRAE standards), and competitors in CFD/load calculation software.
Requirements
Required Skills & Experience
- 2-3 years of independent B2B sales experience for large enterprises, ideally within the HVAC industry or SaaS for the industrial sector.
- Proficiency with CRM tools, strong organizational skills, and willingness to travel extensively for client engagement.
- Experience representing the company at industry events (e.g., ASHRAE, trade shows).
Technical Knowledge:
- Mandatory: Strong understanding of HVAC system design principles, load calculation methodologies, and air distribution.
- Preferred: Familiarity with Building Information Modeling (BIM) workflows, especially Autodesk Revit for HVAC/Mechanical systems.
- Beneficial: Knowledge of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) concepts, Thermal Comfort, Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) metrics, and certifications such as LEED AP.
Sales and Management Tools:
- Proficiency with leading CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) is mandatory for managing client relationships, tracking sales pipelines, forecasting revenue, and providing accurate performance reports.
Preferred Qualifications
- • B.E./BTech or M.E/MTech in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, or related fields.
