As a Technical Sales Executive for Buildings AI at simulationHub, you will be responsible for selling AI-powered
Building Energy Modeling and CFD load calculation solutions to AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and
Construction) firms, sustainability consultants. This role involves managing the complete sales pipeline from
prospecting to closing high-value deals, consulting with Architects, Engineering Firms, and Sustainability
Consultants. You will provide technical solutions that validate building performance through energy and load
modeling and champion the platform’s unique AI features, such as the PDF-to-BIM converter, to streamline
client workflows and support Net-Zero mandates
Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive the full sales cycle for Buildings AI, targeting large OEMs, MEP companies, and consultants and consultancies in sustainability or building performance, focusing on high-performance and NZEB design, from identifying and prospecting leads to closing high-value enterprise deals.
  • Provide technical consultancy on Building Energy Modeling (BEM) and load calculation, demonstrating how Buildings AI automates complex processes and compliance checks (e.g., ASHRAE 90.1, IECC), including its automated workflows for Energy Modeling and CFD Load Calculations.
  • Coordinate with client BIM managers and internal engineering teams to ensure smooth project implementation and data exchange.
  • Achieve or exceed high-value sales targets and build long-term strategic client relationships.
  • Stay updated on global BEM trends, Net-Zero standards, building energy codes, and the competitive landscape to effectively communicate the platform’s value proposition.




Requirements

Sales and Management Tools:
  • Proficiency with leading CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho CRM or similar) is mandatory for managing client relationships, tracking sales pipelines, forecasting revenue, and providing accurate performance reports.
Technical Knowledge:
  • Mandatory: Strong understanding of Building Energy Modeling (BEM), Heating/Cooling Load Calculations, and building physics fundamentals.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with compliance standards such as ASHRAE 90.1, IECC, and Net-Zero Energy Buildings (NZEB), along with BIM workflows and environmental analysis tools (e.g., Autodesk Revit).
  • Beneficial: Experience with BEM tools (e.g., EnergyPlus, IES VE, eQUEST), BIM tools (e.g., Revit), and concepts like digital twins and Agentic AI workflows. Experience with green building certifications (e.g.,
  • LEED, BREEAM, WELL) and advanced certifications in sustainable architecture and building performance analysis.

Educational Background:
  • B.Arch, B.E./BTech, or M.Arch, M.E./M.Tech in Civil, Architectural, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.

General Requirements:
  • 2-3 years of independent B2B sales experience for large enterprises, ideally within the AEC or sustainability SaaS sectors.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple clients and sales processes simultaneously.
  • Willingness to travel extensively for client engagement and represent the company at industry exhibitions or events (e.g., Greenbuild, architecture conventions).

Requirements
B.Tech/M.Tech, MBA from a premier institute (IITs, NITs, IIMs or equivalent). 2-5 years of experience in domains such as AEC, Civil Engineering. Solid understanding of CAD/BIM tools (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD) Good understanding of construction technology and platforms like Autodesk Construction Cloud. Excellent analytical and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. Preferred Skills: Experience with software product development life cycles. Exposure to cloud platforms and digital engineering tools. Client-facing experience or consulting background.
