We work with global technology partners to supply robotics, automation, and training products to engineering colleges, universities, skill development centers, research labs, and institutions.


Role Overview

We are looking for a Technical Sales Executive to drive sales of robotics and automation products for educational and institutional customers . The role focuses on engaging with faculty, lab in-charges, training heads, and institutional decision-makers to promote and sell standard products and lab setups , not custom solutions or project execution.



Key Responsibilities

  • Promote and sell robotics, automation, and training products to educational and institutional customers
  • Engage with engineering colleges, universities, ITIs, skill development centers, R&D labs, and government institutions
  • Conduct product presentations, demos, and workshops for faculty, students, and institutional teams
  • Understand curriculum requirements and map them to standard product offerings and lab kits
  • Handle enquiries, prepare product-based quotations , and share datasheets and catalogs
  • Coordinate with OEMs and internal teams for pricing, availability, and order processing
  • Follow up on tenders, institutional procurement processes, and approvals
  • Build long-term relationships with professors, HODs, lab coordinators, and training managers
  • Track leads, pipeline, and institutional sales closures
  • Stay updated on education policies, skill development programs, and technology trends


Education Qualification

  • Graduate / Diploma in any field
  • Background in education sales, institutional sales, or technical product selling will be preferred
  • Relevant experience and aptitude will be valued over academic qualification


Required Skills

Technical & Product Understanding

  • Basic understanding of robotics, cobot, humanoid robot, quadruped robot, amr, automation, or technical training products
  • Ability to explain product features in an academic and learning-oriented context
  • Familiarity with lab equipment, training kits, or educational tools is a plus

Sales & Communication

  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Comfortable interacting with professors, academic heads, and institutional buyers
  • Ability to navigate institutional procurement and approval cycles


Experience

  • 1–5 years of experience in educational / institutional B2B sales
  • Experience selling lab equipment, training products, EdTech hardware, or technical products preferred
  • Exposure to government or PSU institutions is an added advantage
  • Understanding of Tender drafting and filling process will be preferred
