Field Service Engineer

Field Service Engineer to cover Service/Equipment/Sales demands in the Mexican Republic and internationally, and to support other FSEs on vacations.

The FSE is in charge of service, maintenance, and repair of Agfa DPC equipment families: Anapurna, Jeti Titan/Mira, Tauro Family, Onset Family, Bronco, Avinci, ASANTI, IT issues, and future additions.

What You'll Do

• Ensure customer satisfaction.
• Provide remote support with a high percentage of calls resolved remotely.
• Give thorough and detailed operator training to customers.
• Register all interventions in service reports on time.
• Perform preventive maintenance on all Inkjet customers according to a schedule and keep Agfa information up‑to‑date.
• Add IT support for our software such as Asanti.

Education

• Complete bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechatronics, Electronics, Communications, Electrical, or related).

Experience

• At least 2 years of on‑site service experience.
• Desirable experience supporting software applications and a broad skill set in technical, human relations, or managerial areas.

Languages

• Spanish (Mother tongue).

Technical Skills

• Excellent experience in electrical, electronic, and mechanical repairs.
• Strong engineering skills; ability to interpret service manuals and electrical, electronic, and pneumatic schematics.
• Desirable experience in computer science, operating systems, networks, and IT.
• Desirable knowledge of colour theory and profiles.

Travel

• 90% travel within Mexico and international trips.
• Maximum travel time per assignment: 2 weeks.
