Technical Service Manager page is loaded## Technical Service Managerlocations: Malaysia - Kuala Lumpurtime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Yesterdayjob requisition id: R6724Main Accountabilities:* Responsible for delivering technical and innovative solutions across multiple areas to customers to achieve business growth, together with Sales and Product Marketing teams* Provide expertise and leadership in technical service activities to maintain and grow customer loyalty* Develop and implement strategic technology plans (short and long-term) which are parts of the commercial plan. Ensure that these plans are communicated via a formal or informal platform, measured, and reviewed periodically.* Provide hands-on support at customer production lines. This includes conducting technical evaluations, troubleshooting issues, implementing solutions, and ensuring smooth integration of company products and processes within customer operations. The role may involve regular travel and extended periods of work at customer facilities to deliver effective service and maintain strong customer relationships.* Maintain an awareness of market and competitor technology trends; report on significant events that could potentially impact the business. Provide feedback on the Voice of Customers to the R&D Team.* Ensure market leading technical advisory service in the selection and use of our products through customer-centricity. Monitor activities to ensure a timely response and resolution to customer technical inquiries/ problems/ formal complaints.* Keeping abreast with the latest technological advancement, market performance requirements, customer product needs, market regulatory requirements and competitor activities.* Promotion of our products, technology and technical capabilities through seminars, regular visits to key accounts and technology partners as well as delivering technical papers and/or attending relevant technical conferences (local & international). Regular liaison with technical service managers in other regions as deemed appropriate.* Safeguard all company proprietary and confidential information, including but not limited to technical data, product formulations, customer information, and internal processes. Ensuring such information is used solely for authorized business purposes, is not disclosed to unauthorized parties, and is protected against misuse or loss.* Create a culture of collaboration within the team, where every member is equipped with free-flowing information between multiple departments and knowledge needed.* Responsible in ensuring the department complies with the site SHE and QMS procedures.
