Technical Service Superintendent

An opportunity is available for an experienced short-term planning leader to join a well-established open-cut coal operation in Bowen Basin. Reporting to the Technical Services Manager, you’ll lead the delivery of safe, practical short to medium-term mine plans, maintain schedule integrity, and work closely with production, drill & blast and maintenance teams to manage risk, performance and execution.

You’ll be degree-qualified in Mining Engineering (or equivalent) and bring strong open-cut coal planning experience, with the ability to clearly communicate mine plans, deviations, and key risks to both senior leadership and site teams. You’ll also have a solid commercial mindset and a genuine focus on safety leadership in line with QLD Coal Mining legislation.
