We are looking for a suitable candidate in the technical support/ engineering services team for Mainline Lens
Business, who will handle and coordinate with teams to resolve product, process, and system-related issues,
that are faced by internal teams or customers, ensuring minimal downtime and efficient operations. The position is based in Bangalore.

Your Role
Reporting to the Assistant Manager - Manufacturing Excellence, Bangalore, you will collaborate closely with
internal teams, external stakeholders and be part of global initiatives if needed.
Main responsibilities:
Assist in diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, or application issues.
Provide support for production line equipment or field operations based on team alignment.
Document and escalate complex problems to higher-level support teams or developers.
Monitor system performance and generate periodic technical reports.
Follow up with users to ensure full resolution of issues.
Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and continuous improvement initiatives.
Learn and understand standard operating procedures (SOPs), tools, and technologies used within the team.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, QA, production, and IT.
Provide remote and/or on-site support based on team assignments.
A. NETWORK OF INTERACTION:
INTERNAL: This role will be working closely with colleagues from across the operations team,
customer service.
EXTERNAL: This role will be managing multiple external stakeholders
B. TECHNICAL SKILLS - PORTRAIT OF A PERFECT CANDIDATE
B.E. / B.Tech in (Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Computer Science) or related disciplines
Strong technical aptitude and willingness to learn.
Total 5 years of work experience and at least 2 years of experience in engineering/ technical services.
Good understanding of basic engineering concepts related to (electronics/mechanical/software).
Basic troubleshooting skills (hardware/software/network).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a team and handle pressure situations.
Familiarity with ticketing systems or support platforms is a plus.
Knowledge of tools such as MS Office, Excel, and basic analytics is desirable
Comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided.
Opportunities to learn support tools, customer interaction skills, and technical documentation
C. CANDIDATE PROFILE:
Educational Background: Engineering Degree with competency in technical support, trouble
shooting, resolution time.
D. LANGUAGES:
• Proficient in English and multilingual is preferred.
