Salary offered: Rs. 3 Lacs - 4.5 Lacs Per Annum (May vary according to knowledge & experience)

Role Description

This role is critical for Navicent Solutions and our customers, primary responsibility is to successfully resolve variety of issues that our customers report. The ideal candidate will bring a host of experience and attitude to the team.


Support Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Providing customers with IT support via remote desktop solutions, chat functions, emails, tickets and calls. Using basic ITIL Framework processes and procedures.
  • Windows 10/11 Installation, configuration, and management.
  • Microsoft 365 Support – Email, One Drive, SharePoint, Teams Support
  • Microsoft 365 Platform Management & Configuration.
  • Google Workspace Platform Management & Configuration
  • Ability to understand migration process from other platforms to M365.
  • Email Client Configuration – Outlook, Thunderbird, etc
  • End Point AV Troubleshooting and handling of Endpoints.
  • Managing & Monitoring Endpoints & Servers Backup.
  • Hardware troubleshooting and repair.
  • Desktop Application Installation, Management and Troubleshooting.
  • Installation & Configuration of Printers and Other Network Devices.
  • Troubleshooting IT issues by asking customer targeted questions.


Support Engineer Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience as a support engineer.
  • Ability to handle L1 issues effectively & L2 issues (partially)
  • Good knowledge, understanding and experience of Windows 10/11 Operating System.
  • Working knowledge of MacOS will be beneficial & preferred .
  • Good knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office and Endpoint Security Solutions.
  • Knowledge & Understanding of Windows Server & Active Directory management will be beneficial & preferred.
  • Understanding of Backup Solutions for Endpoint & Servers.
  • Additional certifications will be be given preferance .
  • Understanding of Networking Technologies & with CCNA Skills shall be beneficial
  • Desktop Hardware Management with good troubleshooting skills.
  • Understanding of the Support Escalation Matrix & ability to raise tickets with principal OEM if required.
  • Desire to stay updated and aligned with new technolgies and certifications.
  • Must possess good written and verbal skills. Good English communication and interpersonal skills is must for this profile.
  • Working with other Architects, Consultants or Vendors on certain projects.
  • Ability to work actively as a team player or a team leader.
  • Ability to work flexibly (On-Site or in shifts if required for any specific project)
