Educational Qualification Requirements: BE/B.Tech: Marine Engineering

Work Experience: Chief Engineers to apply

Industry: Marine/ Shipping

Exposure: Preferred Bulk Carrier

JOB LOCATION : KOLKATA


Purpose of the Position:

  • Ensuring that the ships are operated in compliance with Company’s policies and KPIs, all applicable national and international laws and in accordance with budgets approved.
  • Verifying compliance with the Safety and Quality systems and take necessary action to rectify deficiencies found.
  • Being the responsible authority for the ships under his control in respect of the following : -
  • Follow up of ship-shore information system
  • Validity of Class and National Certificates
  • Repairs
  • Maintenance
