Technical Superintendent
Educational Qualification Requirements:
BE/B.Tech: Marine Engineering
Work Experience : Chief Engineers to apply
Industry : Marine/ Shipping
Exposure : Preferred Bulk Carrier
JOB LOCATION
: KOLKATA
Purpose of the Position:
Ensuring that the ships are operated in compliance with Company’s policies and KPIs, all applicable national and international laws and in accordance with budgets approved.
Verifying compliance with the Safety and Quality systems and take necessary action to rectify deficiencies found.
Being the responsible authority for the ships under his control in respect of the following : -
Follow up of ship-shore information system
Validity of Class and National Certificates
Repairs
Maintenance
Taking all decisions in respect of the ship under his control within the budgetary constraints and with following exclusions :
Orders for spare parts and stores upto an approved amount
