Technical Superintendent

Key Responsibilities:

1. Fleet Technical Oversight

Ensure the operational readiness and technical integrity of all assigned vessels, covering hull, machinery, electrical, and safety systems.

2. Preventive & Corrective Maintenance

Plan, monitor, and optimise maintenance programs. Assess defect reports, propose solutions, and implement reliable fixes.

3. Technical Troubleshooting & Vessel Attendance

Provide expert engineering support to onboard teams. Attend vessels for breakdowns, emergencies, or critical repairs.

4. Dry Docking & Major Repair Management

Lead the full cycle of dry‑docking activities — preparation, budgeting, supervision, and post‑dock documentation.

5. Class, Flag & Statutory Compliance

Coordinate with Class and Flag administration to ensure all certifications, surveys, and audits are completed and current.
