Technical Superintendent (Singapore, Containers)

We are seeking a qualified and proactive Technical Superintendent with container vessel experience to join our client’s technical team. This role is based in Singapore and with a leading shipping company.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day technical operations of assigned vessels.
• Monitor vessel performance, fuel efficiency, and machinery health.
• Plan and supervise routine maintenance, dry-dockings, and repairs.
• Coordinate with onboard crew and ensure compliance with planned maintenance systems (PMS).
• Liaise with classification societies, flag states, and third-party service providers.
• Manage budgets for assigned vessels, track expenditures, and control costs.
• Investigate technical incidents and ensure timely implementation of corrective actions.
• Assist in the development and execution of energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives.
