π Role Overview:
As a Technical Support Advocate, you will be the first point of contact for Microsoft consumers. Your main job will be to help customers troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Microsoft Windows, Office, and connected devices. Youβll ensure every interaction leaves the customer satisfied and supported.
π Key Responsibilities:
1. Customer Support & Troubleshooting
Help customers with technical issues via chat, email, or remote access
Understand customer concerns and guide them patiently
Explain technical terms in a simple, easy-to-understand way
2. Microsoft Product Knowledge
Learn and support Microsoft Windows, Office 365, Surface Devices, and more
Stay updated on product patches, updates, and new features
Help users navigate self-help resources when applicable
3. Issue Resolution & Documentation
Solve customer problems independently or escalate complex issues
Use remote tools like Microsoft Remote Desktop for troubleshooting
Keep records of issues and solutions in the internal system
4. Customer Satisfaction & Quality
Aim for first-contact resolution
Stay calm and professional even during difficult conversations
Gather feedback to help improve services
5. Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing
Work with senior teams to understand frequent issues
Share learnings and solutions with your team
Contribute to building better internal documentation
π₯οΈ Technical Skills You'll Develop (with training):
Post-install technical support for Windows and Microsoft Office
Help with software-related issues (installation, updates, etc.)
Assist with network & device connectivity problems across platforms
Answer βHow Toβ and usability questions for Windows and Microsoft apps
π Required Skills & Qualifications:
π Education:
B.Tech / BCA graduates (2022 β 2024 pass-outs)
π¬ Communication Skills:
Strong verbal and written English
Ability to explain tech to non-tech users
π‘ Tech & Customer Skills:
Basic knowledge of Windows OS and Microsoft products
Strong troubleshooting mindset and willingness to learn
Typing speed of at least 30 WPM
π Required Documents:
PAN Card
Provisional Certificate or Degree Certificate
Certifications like Microsoft Azure Fundamentals or M365 Fundamentals (optional)
