**A Snapshot of Your Day (position overview)**
As Engineering Service Technical support for GIS´ Smart Spares, you will work in the project team to develop the technical solution according to customer requirements. This includes the entire process, starting with clarifying fundamental questions, identifying spare parts, defining materials and tools for repairing activities and minor modifications. Documenting best practices, standard procedures, and lessons learned. Particulary, your focus will be on our service “Smart Spares”, thereby you will develop spare part concepts, to optimize the inventory stock of our customer.
**How You’ll Make an Impact (responsibilities)**
- Consult the “Smart Spares” service by developing a Customer’s specifi concept for spares, throughout the installed base in focus.
- Elaborate cross reference and compatibility charts for components/modules of same GIS families/generations.
