Technical Support Officer

The Role Reporting into a specialist development team, the successful candidate will support the coordination and completion of a programme of technical assessments to ensure housing schemes meet agreed design, compliance, cost and value-for-money standards. Key responsibilities will include: Undertaking technical assessments of housing development proposals, including design compliance, cost appraisal and value for money Producing clear, evidence-based reports with recommendations to support project approval decisions Engaging with external delivery partners through pre-assessment discussions to support timely scheme approvals Providing technical advice to internal stakeholders and external partners Supporting audits of completed schemes to ensure compliance with approved proposals, including site visits and drawing reviews Maintaining accurate project records in line with internal procedures Contributing to the ongoing development of design standards and best practice Essential Crite...
