The Opportunity
Looking for a relationship-driven sales leader who will join our elite team to develop and grow a strategic territory by proactively uncovering sales opportunities, being a brand champion and developing a best-in-class dealer network.

- Willing to travel inside the territory about 70% of your time, engaging Dealers and Farmers
Responsibilities
- Assist with the development, communication and implementation of the organisation’s objectives and tactical plans through strong leadership and strategic vision.
- Analyze performance of territory sales to identify opportunities and develop action plans to drive further regional growth.
- Work with key dealers to establish sales targets and create an annual business and marketing plan that aligns regional and organisational objectives for growth.
- Collaborate with the Regional Manager to grow Dealer understanding of brand presence and to build the Ag Leader brand.
- Identify gaps in the sales territory and recruit new Dealer partnerships to provide sales and support in underserved areas.
- Handle objections by clarifying, emphasising agreements and working through differences to a positive win/win conclusion using a variety of soft skills to influence appropriately.
- Provide skills development and product knowledge training to Dealers.
- Ensure Dealers are informed of changes in pricing, product availability and other important company communication or initiatives.
- Plan and execute Field Days, Dealer training, conferences and other events that provide opportunities for the understanding and promotion of company products and brand.
- Provide Regional Manager updates on Dealer sentiment, market trends, competitive information and future business and product opportunities through weekly reporting.
- Work effectively with the Support Team to provide an extension of their work in the field when issues become complex.
- Make farm gate and customer visits with Dealers to represent the company, learn and report on customer needs and to model a consultative sales approach.
What You’ll Work On
- Engage Dealers via in-person visits, phone, video, and digital platforms.
- Collaborate with co-workers across the world to drive Dealer engagement strategies through weekly reports and sales meetings.
- Recruit and develop new or existing Dealers.
- Deliver training to Dealers (remote and in-person) to highlight product features and best practices.
- Conduct on-site visits with Dealers to engage farmers with Ag Leader products.

Qualifications and Skills
- Degree in Agriculture, Business, or a related field—or equivalent sales experience.
- Comfortable presenting to groups (from workshops to larger events).
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and follow-through.
- Collaborative, customer-focused, and a good sense of humour.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Hands‑on experience with precision ag hardware and software (highly regarded).
- Current driver’s licence and willingness to travel as required domestically and internationally.
- Full working rights in Australia.
