The Technical Subject Matter Expert ensures accurate localization of complex technical content by bridging domain expertise with linguistic precision.

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert guidance on technical terminology and concepts
  • Review and validate translations of complex technical materials
  • Support linguists and PMs with domain-specific knowledge
  • Develop and maintain technical glossaries
  • Ensure clarity, accuracy, and usability of localized content

Qualifications

  • Deep expertise in a technical domain (IT, engineering, medical, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of translation and localization challenges
  • Ability to explain complex concepts clearly
