Job Description

TEKsystems is partnering with a client seeking a Technical Support Technician I to provide hands‑on troubleshooting and end‑user support across multiple sites in the Stafford, Fredericksburg, and Louisa areas. The role involves resolving hardware, software, and system issues while documenting tickets and following established procedures. Candidates will work with Windows, Linux, and MacOS environments, with data center support experience considered a plus. The position requires strong communication skills, basic hardware troubleshooting abilities, and 0–3 years of technical or help desk experience. Initial training and higher ticket volume will occur at Manassas‑area facilities, with travel decreasing over time as local sites expand. Shift options include Sunday–Wednesday or Wednesday–Saturday, with hours from either 7 AM–5 PM or 11 AM–9 PM. This is a contract‑to‑hire opportunity with strong potential for long‑term placement.
